Al Monte is a singer/songwriter is based near Jacksonville, Florida. He is an accomplished acoustic and electric guitarist and prolific songwriter. His influences are many and he plays a full spectrum of music including jazz, blues, soul, gospel, folk, rock, pop, Broadway, and songs from the American Song Book.

Al can perform solo, but has developed close relationships with many talented musiciains and songwriters. He is a charter member of the Atlantic Beach, Florida songwriters and has released two CDs of original songs. Go Get A Life Of Your Own is a compilation of original romantic jazz recorded with a few very talented musicians from the University of North Florida (UNF), and Jacksonville University (JU).

E-Minor Soup, is an all instrumental CD which includes, rock, folk, country and even a Bossa Nova. The late Drew Lumbar (Doctor Hector And The Groove Injectors) was involved in the production of this CD. The CD also includes the talents of Noel Friedline, piano, Rick Johnson, Sax, Gary Starling, lead guitar, Goliath Flores, percussion, and Rebecca Zapen, violin and others.
